Learning and Resources

Lifelong learning is at the heart of all our activities and events. Loan boxes and hands-on workshops are available for groups of all ages.

School Visits and Workshops

Our Museum Officers have a selection of hands on workshops for schools. These workshops would be taken either in the museum or in the classroom. The workshops have clear aims so they can be incorporated into normal classwork and can be tailored to suit the needs of the individual group. The workshops normally last a few hours and are a great chance for the children to have hands on work with parts of the museums collections.
